Operation Military Matters

Graci was 9 years old and in fourth grade when she heard and saw veterans speak at a Veterans Day assembly. She was inspired to support our military and let the men and women sacrificing their lives for us know people back home cared about them.

What started out as a school project collecting supplies from the community and sending care packages from home to the military overseas grew into a nonprofit. In December 2015, Operation: Military Matters became a corporation and, on March 16, 2016, became a 501 (c) (3).

Over the years working with Operation Military Matters, we’ve had the privilege of watching Graci grow up into the fine young woman she is. When we visit Florida, we always make a point to stop in and say hello. Graci has a great support network through her family and community to help keep morale-boosting support going.

Operation Military Matters has been a featured nonprofit at a Salute to Military game for the Tampa Bay Rays, recognized by the Tampa Bay Lightning as a goal setter, and has been featured on local news channels. Graci has been at the forefront of her mission since the very beginning and continues to send care packages to those who serve to boost morale and send a bit of love from home.

Graci continues to speak to civic organizations and the military to inform them about OMM. Her efforts help raise support and donations to continue sending care packages overseas to our military. We are grateful for our friendship with her and her family. They are truly great people, and we are honored to help with Operation Military Matters Mission.
