No one wants to spend the last few days of the year waiting in long lines at the post office. Honestly, no one wants to do that any day regardless of the time of year. Tons of people shopped online this holiday season so, you know you won't be the only person showing up to bring back that pack of socks your kid didn't want or that sweater that was too itchy. The good news is that there is a much easier way to get your returns done this year and pay less while doing it.
Know the deadlines to ensure your packages arrive in time for the holidays. We suggest mailing early to ensure they make it in time due to the high volumes that come from holiday shipping on top of the impact from COVID. If you happen to be shipping to a hero overseas it also helps them enjoy their festive items a bit longer.
For the first time in history, the U.S. Postal Service is implementing holiday surcharges which will increase rates by between $.24 and $1.50 for commercial services. Commerical service includes online shipping tools but the rates will still be less than going to the post office.
